Business Development Supervisor
For the Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., New York or London Office of a Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Regularly undertaking local market, competitor and client analysis to proactively identify potential BD projects/targets;
- Adopting a Key Account Management process for the group’s key clients and prospects and drive this process with the lawyers;
- Working with partners in the group and across the wider firm to target key clients for cross-selling;
- Ensuring all pitch and marketing opportunities as well as relevant materials are logged, saved and stored in the correct way on Meridio and in the firm’s document management system;
- Project managing pitches and the production of capability documents and other marketing collateral for global real estate-related opportunities working either independently or with other members of the Business Development team in EME, the US and Asia;
- Working closely with P R Manager and external PR agency to identifyand follow up on press releases, comment, articles and other media opportunities.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree; at least 5 years of experience in marketing, business development and events;
- High level of commerciality with a history of driving successful projects and change in a professional services environment;
- Able to present ideas and views clearly and with confidence to people at all levels, including partners and clients;
- Able to run projects independently and to handle many projects simultaneously;
- Able to work in virtual teams and across a global platform.
