PR/Communications Coordinator

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the production and execution of the Firm's marketing communications initiatives and participates in the development of the content strategy;
  • Collaborate with the BD team to create, edit, proof and update content for the Firm's marketing communications, including: brochures, website copy, practice profiles, biographies, bulletins, event materials and advertising copy;
  • Maintain standards for high quality written content, communications and publishing ensuring compliance with brand standards;
  • Manage copyright and permissions rights for the re-publishing of firm material;
  • Help establish and expand social media marketing initiatives.

Qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a communications or marketing related discipline;
  • 2+ years previous experience, preferably within a law firm, professional services firm or similar;
  • Exceptional written communication skills with proven persuasive writing abilities;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills;
  • Results-oriented, self-directed individual with the demonstrated ability to prioritize;
  • Ability and desire to take initiative and accept responsibility.
