CLE/PD Coordinator

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate attorney CLE seminars and maintain the CLE tracking database, calendar, and other materials; stay current on NY CLE regulations and advise attorneys on compliance and upcoming internal CLE seminars;
  • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate the management (including audio-visual IT aspects) of large-scale in-house trainings;
  • Meet with presenters to verify program outline and course materials and confer with concierge, travel and events departments;
  • Assist in compiling associate and counsel evaluations for multiple offices;
  • Create and maintain professional development intranet page; review PD budget for accuracy and work with Accounting to determine next year's budget; provide support for PD aspects of various committees;
  • Coordinate with the Managing Clerk's Office on bar admissions and respond to attorneys' inquiries regarding NYS Office of Court Administration and biannual attorney registration.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2-4 years of experience;
  • Familiarity with New York CLE programming and requirements is strongly preferred;
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and efficient work methods;
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and with all levels of management throughout the Firm;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of Micron preferred.
