Recruiting Manager

For the DC or Boston Office of a Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and coordinate the fall and summer associate recruiting process and the summer associate program in both the Boston and DC offices;
  • Work with law schools to facilitate the fall interview process and market the Firm to students; manage post-offer process, including attorney follow up and coordination of offer dinners and return visits;
  • Manage the summer associate program for Boston and DC, including events, weekly progress reports, work assignments, and planning exit interviews and performance reviews;
  • Write and place advertisements for attorney positions, handle employment inquiries and arrange interviews; review and screen candidate resumes, lead call-back process and confirm interview arrangements;
  • Provide materials and statistics for weekly hiring committee meetings, work on recruiting-related promotional materials (including website and NALP forms), and be familiar with current industry and market trends;
  • Serve as firm contact with all outside organizations involved in the legal recruiting process, including the NALP, other law firms and law schools.

Qualifications include:

  • BA and 5+ years of recruiting experience, with law firm experience required;
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills;
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines;
  • Polite, professional, positive, collaborative and a team player;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Systems required: Legiant, Minisoft, Interwoven, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Lawcruit, Recruit Notes, Summer.
