Recruiting Assistant

For the New York Office of a Global Independent Investment Bank
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Arranges logistics and materials for on-campus interview programs;
  • Assists in the preparation of in-house interview schedules and escorts applicants to in-house interviews;
  • Handles event planning and coordination;
  • Plans and attends recruitment receptions, dinners and other events;
  • Coordinates expense reimbursements for applicants;
  • Able to work overtime during busy seasons and attend evening recruiting events.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of related work experience preferably in a finance or professional services environment (or very strong internships);
  • Ability to prioritize, work quickly and accurately, and handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment;
  • Excellent written, organizational and communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with and all levels of bank personnel;
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently;
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
