Recruiting Assistant - Temp

For the New York Office of a Large Prestigious Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Distribute resumes, track candidates, schedule interviews, book conference rooms/catering, prepare and distribute interview schedules, greet candidates, and collect evaluations as needed for both student and lateral hiring; update recruiting database;
  • Help to plan and organize on-campus recruiting activities, fall recruiting offer dinners and summer program social events. Manage guest lists for all recruiting and summer program events; attend recruiting events;
  • Track summer event expenses and summer lunch program; process student callback travel expense reimbursements;
  • Responsible for large-scale mailings and packages to students, clerks, search firms, and law schools. Handle department's phones as necessary, and check and sort email to general recruiting department inbox;
  • Process correspondence and distribute in-house and on-campus interview materials to attorneys. Organize summer program materials including photo books, calendar, event invitations and other firm-wide distributions;
  • Coordinate summer associate status reports. Solicit summer associate evaluations and prepare composite packets for Summer Program Committee members.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Must be highly motivated to work in fast paced environment and able to multi-task;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Some office experience preferred;
  • Must be willing to work overtime as requested.
