Recruiting Assistant
For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule interviews, prepare and distribute interview schedules, and greet candidates as needed for both student and lateral hiring;
- Coordinate, track and attend summer programs and fall recruiting events as well OCI activities;
- Compile information for recruiting committee meetings;
- Process correspondence and distribute in-house and on-campus interview materials to attorneys;
- Maintain an organized file system, warehouse files when appropriate, and keep department's recruiting database current;
- Responsible for large-scale mailings and packages to students, clerks, search firms, and law schools.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree required, 1+ years of professional services recruiting experience preferred;
- Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects and meet shifting deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; experience with database systems preferred; viRecruit experience is a plus;
- Ability to handle fast-paced conditions in a calm and professional manner.
