Marketing and BD Assistant

For the New York Office of a Large, Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Draft and edit client and internal communications; coordinate processes around the creation and submission of content for publication; update website content;
  • Manage domestic and international contact database; create individual contact lists for use in client mailings and events; assist with preparing client mailings and briefings;
  • Conduct market research and analysis; understand and organize internal intelligence and keep materials up to date;
  • Assist with development of RFPs, pitches, and proposals;
  • Compile entries for league tables and legal directories, including the creation and submission of descriptions;
  • Assist with organizing logistics for seminars and events.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 1-3 years of BD/Marketing, or related experience in a professional services environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, writing sample required; experience responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) a plus;
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail;
  • A client-service oriented individual, with a can-do attitude, who exhibits behaviors which promote collaboration and teamwork;
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Front Page, and full MS Office Suite ;
  • Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus.
