Marketing and BD Assistant
For the New York Office of a Large, Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft and edit client and internal communications; coordinate processes around the creation and submission of content for publication; update website content;
- Manage domestic and international contact database; create individual contact lists for use in client mailings and events; assist with preparing client mailings and briefings;
- Conduct market research and analysis; understand and organize internal intelligence and keep materials up to date;
- Assist with development of RFPs, pitches, and proposals;
- Compile entries for league tables and legal directories, including the creation and submission of descriptions;
- Assist with organizing logistics for seminars and events.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree; 1-3 years of BD/Marketing, or related experience in a professional services environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, writing sample required; experience responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) a plus;
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail;
- A client-service oriented individual, with a can-do attitude, who exhibits behaviors which promote collaboration and teamwork;
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Front Page, and full MS Office Suite ;
- Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus.
