BD Manager - Litigation & Project Finance

For an Established New York Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide primary BD support to Litigation & Project Finance practice groups, and secondary support to Partners in other Bankruptcy, IP, and Insurance practices;
• Participate in developing strategic partner BD plans, which identify specific deliverables and are in line with the plans of the practice groups; manage follow-up with the plans;
• Conduct substantive research on new business opportunities and work with practice group leaders and partners to execute targeted and client-focused pitches, RFP responses and client research; manage strategy and content for directory ranking submissions;
• Create and manage content for marketing materials, including the website;
• Manage the BD aspect of events, including CLE programs and sponsorships;
• Support lateral partner integration as it relates to BD.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services organization, MBA is preferred;
• Strong presentation and communications abilities with advanced interpersonal skills;
• Business-minded and results-oriented individual;
• Superior project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines; outstanding attention to detail;
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
