BD Intelligence Analyst

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

• Research and analyze business and industry trends to support pitches and proposals; support practice groups with various research and business intelligence projects;
• Provide analysis and presentation of research around special projects requested by firm management; assist corporate practice managers on compiling key deal and matter lists for special presentations;
• Conduct ongoing peer firm competitive intelligence; and provide regular market data and analysis for
• Work with Finance to prepare custom target lists of clients in industry or geographic regions;
• Liaise with Library and Accounting on specialized research requests;
• Provide direct support to Managing Partner and key lead partners on presentations for the Annual Partners Meeting.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred; 4-6 years of experience in the consulting, banking, legal or professional services fields, with background in data analytics and business research; advanced degree a plus;
• Strong use of PowerPoint and Excel;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Familiarity with Thomson, MergerMarket, Capital IQ, Bloomberg and other legal research databases.
