Senior Marketing Coordinator - Client Initiatives

For the DC Office of an International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Firm's marketing efforts to develop and execute global client-focused programs; help drive selected client team activities, including: identifying and tracking opportunities and deliverables for each team, and ensuring productive internal tea
  • Assist in the development of BD tools, including internal and external research, financial reports, development and maintenance of client intranet sites, and related deliverables;
  • Conduct research and compile information regarding existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and industry or market trends to aid in the development of marketing plans, presentations and proposals;
  • Create and edit BD presentations, brochures, reprints and other relevant collateral, and organize representative matters, client lists and industry/geographic experience for marketing purposes;
  • Coordinate client seminars and events, including budgeting and tracking costs; creating and mailing invitations; overseeing internal/external advertising; developing PowerPoint presentations, seminar materials and handouts;
  • Aid in the development and delivery of project-specific content, progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred; 5+ years of marketing experience in a professional services or corporate environment required;
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision;
  • Sound professional judgment;
  • Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Interaction or other CRM programs highly desirable.
