Senior Marketing Coordinator - Corporate

For the DC Office of an International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and edit responses to RFPs, customized pitches and other BD presentations and client communications for the Government Regulations practice group;
  • Conduct research and compile information regarding existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and industry or market trends to aid in the development of marketing plans, presentations and proposals;
  • Oversee the development of brochures, reprints and other collateral relevant to the practice area for general marketing purposes;
  • Manage the regular update of website marketing content, including practice area descriptions, attorney biographies, and related news items; collaborate with PR team on announcements of new hires and noteworthy transactions;
  • Coordinate client seminars and sponsorships, including budgeting and tracking costs; managing sponsorship agreements; creating and mailing invitations; developing PowerPoint presentations, and ensuring participant follow up;
  • Coordinate profile and directory submissions for organizations/publications of which the practice area is a member or sponsor.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field is preferred; at least 5+ years of marketing experience in a professional services or corporate environment required;
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision;
  • Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment;
  • Sound professional judgment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in Interaction or other CRM programs highly desirable.
