Recruitment Manager (Lateral)

Located in the Tri-State Area for a New Model Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage the attorney recruiting efforts; provide day-to-day planning, leadership, and management in recruiting operations;
  • Develop and execute recruiting plans, including: creating job descriptions, efficiently tracking and filling open positions, developing a pool of qualified attorney candidates, developing new sources for candidate recruiting;
  • Conduct interviews of candidates and assess applicants for open positions;
  • Systematize the search process and manage each search from start to finish in an organized and efficient manner; maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Company's systems;
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of the Company's recruiting functions;
  • Network through legal industry contacts, association memberships, and trade groups.

Qualifications include:

  • JD preferred; significant experience and demonstrated track record in lateral recruiting in the legal industry; legal experience at major law firm and/or in-house legal department preferred;
  • Analytic decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve Company goals;
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to recruiting;
  • Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed;
  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively in a telecommuting role.
