BD & Marketing Coordinator - Litigation

For the NY Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble pitches and presentations, and handle related tracking of activities;
  • Conduct various research projects used for BD efforts, including company and industry research, targeting clients, and competitive intelligence;
  • Update practice descriptions and bios on website and collateral materials, and maintain deal/experience lists for practice groups;
  • Assist with coordination of seminars, webinars, conference sponsorships, and other events, including arranging logistics, invitations, materials, and hospitality; assist with follow-up activities;
  • Assist with legal directory and league table submissions;
  • Coordinate client communications, including legal updates and announcements.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or English; 2-4 years of experience in a professional services marketing role; some law firm experience required;
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills; able to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate own work;
  • Understanding of the marketing functions, needs, and expectations of attorneys and clients;
  • Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability collaborate and be a team player; professional, positive, and ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Proficient with Microsoft office; Interaction is a plus.
