Recruiting Specialist - MBA

For the Boston Office of a Global Management Consulting Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as primary contact and lead recruiting efforts for Class of 2017 at assigned school throughout their two year recruiting life cycle (summer internship and full-time employment);
  • Identify Class of 2017 target candidates; build relationships through outreach, on-campus meetings, and events; manage applications and select candidates to interview; plan and lead large-scale interview days;
  • Manage Firm's presence and reputation on campus by building relationships with Career & Professional Development contacts, ensuring adherence to recruiting policies, managing club sponsorships, conferences and content presentations;
  • Track, analyze, and distribute recruiting results, including developing annual analysis of recruiting results against historical and competitive benchmarks and identifying strategies to improve recruiting initiatives;
  • Work with recruiting assistant to ensure the accuracy of files/records in recruiting systems through daily maintenance and updating; work with analyst to identify and resolve any data discrepancies;
  • Ensure efficient use of Firm resources (i.e. budget, time, etc.) and help develop annual school recruiting budget and actively track monthly spending.

Qualifications include:

  • BA required; 3-5 years of professional services recruiting experience; solid OCI experience;
  • Extremely strong collaborative skills, demonstrated teamwork, initiative, judgment, and maturity; track record as self-starter;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team skills; ability to build counselor relationships with candidates, staff at all levels, and global recruiting colleagues; a strong customer service orientation;
  • Proactive problem solver capable of raising issues and generating solutions; ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with unexpected situations and last-minute changes;
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills; at ease with abundance of details, yet mindful of big picture; ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel and Lotus Notes and recruiting IT tools.
