BD Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in drafting, editing, proofreading, producing and tracking results of targeted client proposals and RFP responses for multiple practice areas; maintain various departmental and project tracking reports;
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and market research in preparation for client meetings; fulfill general requests for business development materials;
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of client seminars and special events;
  • Maintain the NY Office contact relationship management database (Interaction);
  • Assist NY lawyers and Firm-wide Business Development team with initiatives as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 3+ years of marketing experience, law firm experience preferred;
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel;
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading;
  • Strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and respond quickly to changing priorities;
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard hours for events, etc.
