Global Pitch & Proposal Manager

For the Philadelphia, Princeton, DC, Boston, or Chicago Office of a Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic direction and drive processes for responding to RFPs and global pitches and proposals; lead internal strategy meetings; conduct audits of existing materials to evaluate strategy and effectiveness;
  • Build and maintain relationships with current clients that have panel arrangements in place and share findings with relevant personnel;
  • Assist in developing strategy in preparation for next panel period; create comprehensive list of current RFP submissions and maintain granular knowledge of all RFPs, including key terms and financial arrangements;
  • Oversee and participate as appropriate in client win/loss follow-up; collect and analyze feedback and identify/communicate trends, best practices and areas for improvement; track ROI based on revenue of resulting matters and work to adhere to budget;
  • Develop and maintain tracking system for managing client relationships governed by panel arrangements, including client manuals and summaries of terms;
  • Manage custom proposal projects in a way that exhibits and supports the firm's strengths; convert highly technical language and concepts into clear and compelling demonstrations of the firm's offerings.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a professional services firm; understanding of legal or business industry preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational and team-management skills, including outstanding project management and staff supervisory skills;
  • High level of energy and creativity;
  • Detail-oriented; ability to perform under pressure and deliver results.
