Recruiting Specialist
For the New York Office of a Premier Consulting FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Independently manage several campus sources on behalf of the entire Northeast office (NEO); keep all NEO locations' interests in mind and liaise with source teams;
- Work with leadership to drive strategies and efforts for candidate attraction and cultivation; track and analyze recruiting results and trends and disseminate all relevant information;
- Provide end-to-end management of candidate final round pipeline, including strategic scheduling, facilitating and leading decision meetings, and managing all candidate data and interview follow-up;
- Plan and execute local recruiting events; manage overall recruiting budget;
- Serve as primary contact and counselor for candidates throughout the identification, attraction, and assessment stages, as well as during the onboarding process; be highly responsive to their needs and inquiries;
- Assist with the design and execution of summer internship program in areas such as intern new hire orientation, summer mentor program facilitation, coordination of review process, and event planning;
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree; 2-5 years of recruiting experience;
- Strong strategic thinker; ability to see and manage the big picture while driving impact on specific initiatives; willing to play an active role in all aspects of the candidate management process;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, colleagues, and staff at all levels; demonstrated initiative, judgment, and maturity;
- Outstanding organizational skills, close attention to detail; flexibility to deal with last minute changes; ability to remain calm under pressure; comfortable working with minimal direction;
- Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions; desire and energy to continuously improve recruiting processes;
- Solid analytical ability, including high degree of comfort with Excel.
