Director of Marketing
For the Los Angeles Office of a National Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement new and improve current marketing operations, key processes and procedures to ensure alignment with the Firm's overall goals; work closely with Firm leadership on significant initiatives;
- Develop best practices to support marketing strategies and drive business; strategize with team on business development efforts; identify opportunities to retain new clients and expand existing relationships;
- Supervise and motivate staff to promote organizational effectiveness;
- Manage website, intranet and internal and external communications; oversee the development of new marketing and business development collateral;
- Plan and manage the marketing budget in conjunction with Chief Strategy Officer; implement mechanism for measuring ROI of marketing efforts and establish goals for improvement;
- Build strong relationships with marketing partners, organizers and vendors; assess vendor offerings, determine needs, solicit bids, and lead implementation of new software, client intelligence and CRM system.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Communications or Journalism; MBA or Masters in Marketing or related field a plus; 7+ years experience in a law or professional services firm;
- Highly motivated, priority-driven, and collaborative;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal;
- Demonstrated project and people management skills;
- Organizational leadership and team building abilities;
- Business maturity and discretion.
