Attorney Development & Recruitment Manager
For the Charlotte, NC Office of an International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with attorney development programs; provide coaching and assistance with professional development planning; participate in attorney evaluation process and conduct exit interviews;
- Manage and direct the lateral recruiting, orientation and integration processes; develop and maintain relationships with local search firms; stay abreast of market trends regarding salary and benefits;
- Direct student recruitment efforts, including OCI and callback interviews; develop and strengthen relationships with law schools; manage the Summer Associate Program, including on-boarding, training, evaluations, and social events;
- Maintain recruiting statistics and prepare reports and analyses; develop and monitor attorney recruitment, development, and training budgets;
- Assist with logistics surrounding CLE programs and other training and mentoring programs; coordinate with the New York office to administer local diversity programs and initiatives, pro bono efforts and the Firm's alumni network;
- Assist Partners with coordination of attorney work assignments as needed.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree; 4+ years experience managing the recruiting and/or professional development process for a professional services firm, preferably a law firm;
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills; the ability to work collaboratively with others;
- High level of discretion and good judgement;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task among competing demands.
