Recruiting Assistant
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with all aspects of the summer program including on-boarding details for summer associates, planning and attending events, creating collateral materials, soliciting and retrieving evaluations, and responding to daily inquiries;
- Manage the recruiting telephone line, schedule students' office visits, and greet and escort candidates;
- Update and maintain the department's recruiting database; track recruiting statistics and provide feedback to placement offices for assigned schools;
- Arrange conference rooms for callback interviews; assist with organizing fall and spring recruiting activities at law schools; process travel expenses related to callback interviews;
- Prepare interview packets;
- Draft offer and rejection letters.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree; recruiting experience in a law firm or other professional services recruiting department preferred;
- Availability to work overtime as needed;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Extremely detailed oriented; self-starter; client-focused and team-oriented;
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment; strong time management skills;
- Knowledge of viRecruit is a plus.
