Recruiting Specialist

For the New York Office of a National Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate Lateral Associate and Partner candidate interviews, including booking conference rooms, sending calendar invites, and sending evaluation links;
  • Prepare and send candidate correspondence;
  • Assist with new hire orientation and integration logistics;
  • Help coordinate diversity initiatives as they relate to recruiting;
  • Update and maintain recruiting database, records, files, and calendars;
  • Assist with general administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally including Lateral Associates and Partners; experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is preferred;
  • Highly organized; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; very strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid proofing skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships quickly and collaborate with attorneys and staff at all levels; ability to exercise independent judgment; highly professional demeanor;
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of relational databases and web technology would be beneficial; familiarity with viDesktop, LawCruit and/or other recruiting systems strongly preferred.
