Recruiting Specialist
For the New York Office of a National Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate Lateral Associate and Partner candidate interviews, including booking conference rooms, sending calendar invites, and sending evaluation links;
- Prepare and send candidate correspondence;
- Assist with new hire orientation and integration logistics;
- Help coordinate diversity initiatives as they relate to recruiting;
- Update and maintain recruiting database, records, files, and calendars;
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree; 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally including Lateral Associates and Partners; experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is preferred;
- Highly organized; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; very strong attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid proofing skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships quickly and collaborate with attorneys and staff at all levels; ability to exercise independent judgment; highly professional demeanor;
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of relational databases and web technology would be beneficial; familiarity with viDesktop, LawCruit and/or other recruiting systems strongly preferred.
