Recruiting & Legal Personnel Assistant
For a Respected New York Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Process incoming resumes; assist in the scheduling of interviews; gather interview evaluations and assist with maintaining recruiting statistics; update recruiting database;
- Track school organization requests to the Firm; prepare materials for OCI and recruiting events;
- Provide support for the Summer Program, including organizing student files, assisting with events, sending requests for evaluations, creating feedback files, scheduling lunches, and maintaining offer statuses;
- Process background checks; organize and process visa applications; coordinate with HR and complete new hire and onboarding information packets; process salary advances;
- Maintain and post CLE schedules and materials to the intranet; assist with maintaining and updating the Recruiting and Legal Personnel intranet pages;
- Coordinate with search firms for lateral hiring.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree; 1+ years recruiting and/or HR experience; knowledge of legal recruiting practices; familiarity with viRecruit or a similar recruiting database;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of personnel;
- Professional and gracious demeanor and service attitude, high level of integrity, and strong ethical standards;
- Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to provide support for detailed and complex projects;
- Ability to work independently under pressure;
- Flexibility in the midst of multiple and/or changing priorities and deadlines.
