BD & Practice Resource Coordinator- Financial Institutions
For the New York Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare market research and competitive analysis on transactions and financial sectors for new business opportunities; provide drafting and research support for RFPs;
- Coordinate and schedule submissions to league tables, legal directories, awards and related industry guides;
- Update print and digital marketing materials; monitor web presence and update internal and public websites to reflect ongoing changes in laws and regulations;
- Maintain client lists, track outreach and coordinate events and initiatives such as client training programs;
- Assist in preparing pitch books, presentation materials, and briefings for client presentations and meetings; create profiles of prospective clients;
- Assist in organizing, designing and delivering cross-group and summer associate trainings.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree; 3+ years experience in the legal or professional/financial services fields; working knowledge of the financial industry and financial regulations; advanced degree is a plus;
- Excellent research and problem solving skills; ability to understand and work with various research tools, federal regulatory data sources, and databases;
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- General familiarity with the main provisions of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act;
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management skills; basic web design skills is a plus.
