Recruiting Manager

For the New York Office of a Prestigious Mid-Size National Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of Lateral Hiring, Fall Recruitment and Summer Program;
  • Liaise to headhunter agencies, school placement officers, firm specialty departments, other offices and new hires regarding onboarding; manage and maintain applicant database;
  • Direct annual budget analysis and overall process;
  • Create and maintain instructional project manuals per department;
  • Oversee firm-wide events and attorney events/receptions as needed;
  • Complete various recruiting surveys; manage statistical analysis.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 5+ years law firm business experience; sophisticated understanding of legal recruiting;
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interface with Partners and executive administration;
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills;
  • Solid project management and organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, be accountable and work well under pressure;
  • Strong work ethic and positive, solution-oriented attitude; must be able to work on a team and independently;
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills.
