BD & Marketing Specialist
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Drive BD activity matched to the individual practice strategy; draft and implement business and marketing plans; identify campaigns to grow new and existing business; support Partners in the management of existing client relationships;
- Work on pitches and credentials statements, covering the entire process including document preparation, presentation rehearsals and post pitch feedback; prepare Partners prior to client/prospect meetings;
- Manage directory submissions, league tables and awards;
- Design and coordinate events and conference attendance to develop/maintain market positions matched to BD strategy;
- Ensure Partner credentials and other relevant information are up to date; draft and update marketing materials, including web content and other collateral; raise the profile of Partners via communication channels, including social media and website;
- Drive the use of the CRM system including ensuring all relevant information is in the system; participate in account management as it develops across the Firm, including client feedback.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree; 3+ years of professional services or relevant market experience;
- Ability to work effectively with and influence Partners and others;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; good team-working/building skills;
- Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills; strong attention to detail;
- Ability to understand product and service development issues;
- Ability to take responsibility for, and lead, specific projects; tenacity to see projects and tasks through to completion.
