Associate Director of Global Legal Recruiting
For the New York Office of a Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee Legal Recruiting team; liaise closely with Recruiting team members in the Firm's global offices; run weekly NY recruiting team meetings and monthly US recruiting team meetings; project and manage all annual NY recruiting budgets;
- Oversee and develop strategy for all aspects of campus recruiting for the US, Asia and Sao Paulo offices; direct the US Summer Associate Program; identify and manage recruiting initiatives and summer associate programs;
- Liaise with appropriate partners, practice group leaders, and administrative point people regarding lateral associate and special counsel searches for all US, London, Sao Paulo, and Asia offices;
- Develop strategy for, and oversee, judicial clerkship recruiting, 1L recruiting programs, and all other campus recruiting activities and firm branding initiatives throughout the school year;
- Develop and institute information technology to improve the Firm's applicant tracking management; track and synthesize historical and real-time recruiting statistics;
- Manage relationships with contacts at industry publications, including Vault, AmLaw, etc.; provide strategy for branding and outreach; build and develop relationships with legal search firms.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree; 10+ years of legal recruiting experience; prior experience leading, managing and motivating a team;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented;
- Demonstrated confidence in managing budgets and statistics;
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to use good judgment and decision-making.
