Marketing Coordinator

For a New York Based Boutique Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble standard pitch kits for client meetings, including tracking requests and outcomes; assist the B D & Marketing Assistant Manager with tailored pitches and RFPs and with preparations of directory submissions and rankings;
  • Assist with making changes/updates to marketing materials, including bios, practice descriptions, representative engagements, client lists, as well as maintaining a resource library of materials;
  • Work closely with the CMO and the firm's PR agency to support PR strategies and efforts, which includes tracking and organizing press mentions and scheduling calls with the attorneys and reporters and our public relations contact;
  • Post and maintain the firm's social media pages, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter;
  • Handle reprint development and negotiating reprint costs; maintain adequate supply of marketing materials in all public areas of the firm; process vendor invoices and expense reports; assist with events as needed;
  • Provide support as needed, including copying, reserving conference rooms, sending calendar appointments, tracking attendance, etc.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 3+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role in a law firm or similar professional services environment preferred;
  • Outstanding writing, editing, oral and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight, shifting deadlines and under pressure;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization;
  • Strong detail orientation;
  • Microsoft Office proficient, including PowerPoint
