Marketing & BD Manager

For the Chicago, DC, NY or Philly Office of a Well-Known Global Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and lead business development initiatives for the Intellectual Property, Business Reorganization & Financial Restructuring, and Energy, Environment & Resources practices;
• Design and implement successful strategic growth programs for existing clients and new business targets;
• Lead team members and motivate lawyers to implement effective marketing and business development initiatives;
• Build trust-filled relationships at all levels of the Firm;
• Manage proposals, presentations and events.

Qualifications include:

• 6+ years of business development experience in a law firm or professional services environment;
• Bachelor's degree required; JD and/or MBA desirable;
• Experience with one or more of the practice areas articulated above is preferred;
• Strong project management, communication and client service skills;
• Budgeting skills required.
