Professional Development Manager-Corporate

For the New York Office of a Prestigious, Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create, update and assist in the execution of in-house training programs for corporate and transactional attorneys;
  • Collaborate with IT, graphic design and audio/visual professionals to deliver programming in an engaging manner, including to attorneys and clients;
  • Draft and deliver internal communications and hold internal meetings with attorneys to prepare them to present training programs;
  • Assist in maintaining internal training database to optimize user experience and ensure regulatory compliance;
  • Assist with onboarding lateral Corporate/Transactional associates and counsel.

Qualifications include:

  • J.D. required; 3+ years of corporate/transactional legal practice experience, preferably in a large law firm;
  • Familiar with and conversant in documentation and processes of corporate/transactional law practice;
  • Interest in, and comfort with technology;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with attorneys and staff throughout the firm on program development and delivery;
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, including strong attention to detail in all written work;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with a client service orientation.
