CLE Events Manager

For the Garden City Office of a Long Island Based ADR Company
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with panels of arbitrators and mediators to develop topics and subject matter for CLE courses to be presented at top NYC law firms;
  • Plan and execute the logistics of CLE events;
  • Market and pitch CLE events to law firms;
  • Attend the CLE events, conduct the introductions, and represent the company;
  • Organize social functions and cocktail receptions for clients.
  • Coordinate travel plans for speakers; book hotels and conferences.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years legal industry experience and exceptional organizational skills;
  • Experience planning events including managing all logistics, preparing handouts, negotiating with vendors and securing venues;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable working directly with attorneys and legal content;
  • Well-developed project management skills, result-focused and ability to work independently.
