CLE Events Manager
For the Garden City Office of a Long Island Based ADR CompanyThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with panels of arbitrators and mediators to develop topics and subject matter for CLE courses to be presented at top NYC law firms;
- Plan and execute the logistics of CLE events;
- Market and pitch CLE events to law firms;
- Attend the CLE events, conduct the introductions, and represent the company;
- Organize social functions and cocktail receptions for clients.
- Coordinate travel plans for speakers; book hotels and conferences.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years legal industry experience and exceptional organizational skills;
- Experience planning events including managing all logistics, preparing handouts, negotiating with vendors and securing venues;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable working directly with attorneys and legal content;
- Well-developed project management skills, result-focused and ability to work independently.
