Communications Assistant

For the New York Office of an Innovative Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with marketing team on a wide variety of projects including drafting and editing marketing collateral and press releases;
  • Maintain various communications calendars, social media, and internal blog;
  • Coordinate article reprint process and promote exposure to practice group and individual attorneys internally;
  • Interact with various personalities and communication styles at all levels in the organization.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Journalism degree a plus;
  • 1+ years experience in marketing, PR or communications field, ideally in the Legal or Professional Services industries;
  • Strong MS office skills and extraordinary attention to detail;
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills;
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects.
