Attorney Resources & Recruitment Manager

For the Washington D.C. Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment, hiring, and integration of summer associates, entry-level associates, lateral associates and partners for our Washington D.C. and Charlotte offices;
  • Work closely with search firms and coordinate in-office interviews for all partner and associate candidates;
  • Manage the robust orientation, onboarding and integration process for entry level associates, lateral associates and new partners;
  • Provide local support for national hiring, marketing communications and diversity initiatives, including development and production of recruiting materials, research gathering and maintaining competitive data;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with various law school career services personnel and search firm contacts to facilitate the Firm's recruiting efforts;
  • Assist with survey preparation and report generation; prepare and maintain an annual recruiting budget.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree; 5+ years experience in law firm recruiting;
  • Experience supervising one or more support personnel is preferred;
  • Knowledge of NALP and industry-wide legal recruiting practices and standards and a familiarity with attorney development and training;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, communication and managerial skills;
  • Proficiency with LawCruit, ViDesktop, MS Word and MS Excel.
