BD Manager - International Arbitration

For the New York or Washington, D.C. Office of a Magic Circle Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating targeted proposals and capability statements and managing all aspects of RFP response;
  • Researching and identifying practice-related awards and preparing submissions for individuals, deals, and teams;
  • Managing and preparing practice-related directory and research guide submissions;
  • Assisting in tracking the success of pitches and other business development activities and analyzing/reporting on the results;
  • Coordinating and managing practice-related events and sponsorships including liaising with lawyers, external organizations and supporting internal/external services;
  • Assisting in managing the practice's web presence, including drafting and updating practice-related content and updating the practice group's internal internet.

Qualifications include:

  • Fluency in Spanish required;
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a similar role;
  • A Bachelor's degree is required;
  • An understanding of the products and services of a law firm is strongly preferred;
  • Candidates must have a strong client service focus, outstanding communication and inter-personal skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization;
  • Possess market awareness and knowledge of practice groups.
