Marketing Coordinator for Supreme Court/Appellate Practice Group
For the Washington D.C. Office of a Well-Respected Am Law 100 FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Generate pitch material, presentations (PowerPoint), proposals and timelines; support in proofreading, printing and binding, etc;
- Conduct legal reporting, research and business development; monitor current news, blog posts and online databases for relevant developments;
- Sponsorship coordination and event planning support, including generating mailing lists, creating and distributing invitations, debrief after client events, etc;
- Social media support for firm blogs, twitter handles, firm wide channels and individual lawyers;
- Directories and surveys support, including project management and submission preparation;
- Conduct research on competitors, clients, prospects, markets, etc., update and track metrics related to communications and business development efforts/opportunities.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline requiring writing, research and analysis preferred or equivalent work experience;
- Two or more years of marketing or communications experience;
- Law firm experience is a plus;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
