Marketing Coordinator for Supreme Court/Appellate Practice Group

For the Washington D.C. Office of a Well-Respected Am Law 100 Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate pitch material, presentations (PowerPoint), proposals and timelines; support in proofreading, printing and binding, etc;
  • Conduct legal reporting, research and business development; monitor current news, blog posts and online databases for relevant developments;
  • Sponsorship coordination and event planning support, including generating mailing lists, creating and distributing invitations, debrief after client events, etc;
  • Social media support for firm blogs, twitter handles, firm wide channels and individual lawyers;
  • Directories and surveys support, including project management and submission preparation;
  • Conduct research on competitors, clients, prospects, markets, etc., update and track metrics related to communications and business development efforts/opportunities.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline requiring writing, research and analysis preferred or equivalent work experience;
  • Two or more years of marketing or communications experience;
  • Law firm experience is a plus;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
