Public Relations Coordinator
For the New York Office of a Large Prestigious Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the PR Manager in coordinating media relations including pitches, outreach, inquiries, coordination, liaising and tracking;
- Work with lawyers on the publication of bylined articles and survey reports, and coordination with editors;
- Assist with media training and reporter interview preparation for lawyers, firm leaders and representatives;
- Coordinate the preparation, proofreading and submission of public relations materials including press releases, pitches, reports, articles, editorials, white papers, briefing materials, analyses and firm announcements;
- Coordinate the design and implementation of programs to enhance the public image of the firm;
- Provide assistance as needed with business development projects, including the development and production of new business proposals, presentations and pitches; development and upkeep of collateral material used to market the firm and practice groups.
Qualifications include:
- At least two years of relevant experience in a law firm, financial firm or PR firm;
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them under demanding time constraints;
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of lawyers and staff, and provide information in a courteous and professional manner;
- Superb writing, editing and proofreading skills.
