HR Recruiting Manager

For the New York Office of a Premier Financial Services Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Playing a critical role in finding, identifying, and attracting top-tier talent, including actively interviewing candidates and gauging capacity for motivation/drive, personal impact, fit, leadership, and problem solving;
  • Sourcing and recruiting exceptional talent, to meet the hiring goals of immediate needs in order to build candidate pipeline for upcoming and future growth demands;
  • Being an integral part of a small, dynamic team, working directly with business functions and senior leadership;
  • Executing multi-pronged recruitment strategies to attract exceptional talent while collaborating with and mentoring a small team;
  • Helping transform and scale recruitment capabilities, including systems, processes, assessment tools, and analytics, within a rapidly growing alternative investments firm;
  • Developing, defining, and managing the full-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience recruiting for a full spectrum of financial services positions; either in-house/corporate, at agency search firm, or combination. 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in a managerial/leadership role);
  • Sophisticated interviewing and candidate screening techniques; keen sourcing and research skills with the ability to develop candidate pipelines;
  • Interest in and solid understanding of emerging and available technologies, i.e., applicant tracking systems, candidate assessment tools, data analytics, etc.;
  • Strong grasp of different business functions and roles commonly found in financial services, particularly in alternative investment firms;
  • High comfort level with data and analytics and use of PPT and other visual tools to drive strategic recruiting discussions and decisions.
