Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development

For the Atlanta Office of an Entrepreneurial Regional Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer in leading and managing the firm's overall market visibility and brand identity;
  • Develop cross-marketing opportunities among practice groups and partners and assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives resulting from the Firm's strategic plan;
  • Proactively work to develop, coordinate and implement practice group and individual business development initiatives;
  • Coordinate and develop RFP responses, marketing pitch materials and other related requests for information with assistance from marketing coordinators;
  • Manage and oversee the creation and distribution of marketing collateral materials, attorney bios, practice group profiles and the Firm's external publications (i.e. firm brochures, client alerts, newsletters, announcements, etc.);
  • Conduct business intelligence and market research, providing appropriate benchmarks related to the firm's market standing.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required; advanced degree a plus;
  • 6-8 years of progressive professional marketing experience in a fast paced management role required; large law firm experience highly desired;
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication/listening skills;
  • Established track record for leading and completing large-scale marketing projects;
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and supervisor-level proficiency with key marketing applications.
