Senior Human Resources Manager

For the New Jersey Office of a Very Successful Northern New Jersey Manufacturing Company
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and lead the recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce;
  • Lead the implementation of the performance management reviews, including crafting employee development plans and performance development plans;
  • Develop and implement training programs, providing necessary education and materials to managers and employees; maintain employee handbooks; coach and train managers in com-munication, feedback, recognition and interaction responsibilities with the employ
  • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship, and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation;
  • Participate in obtaining cost-effective, employee benefits in partnership with senior management and the Payroll/Benefits Manager; recommend possible changes aimed at employee satisfaction and retention;
  • Lead company compliance with all human resource governmental, labor, legal and reporting requirements.

Qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources roles;
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety and employee development;
  • Experienced in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and HR recognition and engagement programs and processes;
  • Demonstrated experience and success in recruiting and hiring practices, including the use of social media;
  • High proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems;
  • Knowledge of the Apparel Business and/or the Promotional Products Industry preferred.
