Client Relations Manager

For the New York, DC or Philadelphia Office of a Strategy Consulting Firm Specializing in Law Firms and In-house Counsel Clients
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director to convert prospects into clients and to expand relationships with existing clients;
  • Identify and meet with potential clients to learn more about their specific needs and educate them about the company offerings;
  • Work closely with the marketing department to coordinate marketing strategies that support business development initiatives;
  • Develop and refine a compelling pitch that can be tailored to specific clients;
  • Stay current in the area of effecting law firms and legal departments and translate that knowledge into thought leadership and visibility opportunities;
  • Generate reports on client needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of in-person sales experience, in new business acquisition or relevant experience within a law firm environment;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships at once;
  • Self-driven, well-read, intellectually curious with a willingness to learn about data and the issues facing law firms and legal departments;
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills; superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Technically adept with the ability to leverage CRM tools to support outreach efforts.
