Professional Development & Legal Personnel Coordinator
For the DC Office of a Premier International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Director of Legal Personnel & Recruiting and Manager of Professional Development & Attorney Resources on planning, organizing and executing special projects related to associate life, including programming such as harassment training, sensitivit
- Manage files, operate performance review database for lawyer performance review process, and work with Professional Development Manager to prepare files for evaluators, including preparing draft performance reviews for partner approval;
- Manage HRIS database for payroll and other key functions; produce reports as requested by partners, committees or the Director of Legal Personnel & Recruiting or the Manager of Professional Development & Attorney Resources;
- Coordinate all on-boarding for new associates/part-time associates to include new associate and lateral associate orientations, associate transfers (inbound and outbound), Visas, Leaves of Absence, Departures, Bar Memberships, and Workday training;
- Facilitate the upward review process and development of materials for reporting;
- Participate in Professional Development meetings and support practice group initiatives, i.e., FPMG day, Litigation group dinners.
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years in professional development, recruiting, HRIS, and/or experience with working in a law firm;
- Detail-oriented, ability to multitask;
- Well-versed, great communication skills;
- Tech-savvy with Workday experience.
