Manager of Diversity and Inclusion

For the DC Office of a Premier International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create Diversity & Inclusion goals and metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives, programs and training;
  • Provide resources and guidance for current and new firm-wide diversity & gender initiatives;
  • Develop training and mentoring programs to incorporate any new or effective trends and liaise with the NY office to collaborate on potential programming;
  • Oversee internal and external communications about D&I at the Firm; facilitate the Committee on Diversity & Inclusion and the Committee of Retention and Promotion of Women to discuss issues and possible changes to the firm;
  • Manage and monitor firm-wide data on Diversity & Inclusion and produce the Firm Diversity Report;
  • Foster relationships with law school diversity groups, alumni, clients, etc. with other related professionals to expand outreach efforts.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years related experience;
  • Knowledge of current practices and trends in Diversity & Inclusion;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills;
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic; ability to be a quick study in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment to sustain credibility and trust;
