Recruiting Coordinator

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide organizational and administrative support to the Firm's attorney recruiting efforts including student recruiting/on-campus interview process, summer associate program and lateral & clerk hiring;
  • Coordinate call-back interview process, including managing the Recruiting Department's phone line, scheduling interviews, greeting candidates and addressing miscellaneous inquiries from candidates;
  • Work closely with Recruiting Manager to identify and recruit lateral hires including communication with search firms, scheduling interviews, and onboarding;
  • Track summer associate assignments, maintain Firm records and provide committee with weekly reports;
  • Lead evaluation collection and feedback process for Summer Program (mid and end of summer);
  • Process and organize HR paperwork of attorney new hires, attorney departures, leaves of absence and office transfers.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors Degree required; 3+ years of law firm recruiting experience preferred;
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven ability to organize/prioritize work while handling multiple projects and shifting responsibilities; ability to meet deadlines;
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently with little supervision;
  • Familiarity with Lawcruit a plus.
