Attorney Development and Recruitment Coordinator
For the Chicago Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all aspects of the summer associate program; plan and execute social events and training programs; on-board summer associates; facilitates the work distribution and evaluation processes;
- Plan and organize the OCI calendar and on-campus events, including coordination of diversity initiatives; gather interview evaluations; schedule callback interviews;
- Partner with the Administrator to lead hiring committee meetings;
- Maintain and update the databases with new courses and CLE certificate entries; prepare materials for CLE trainings;
- Coordinate the Firm's mentor program and perform special projects;
- Manage vendor and event contracts; make revisions per Firm policies and preferences; negotiate rates; coordinate approval between the Firm's General Counsel and vendors.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree; 2+ years of recruiting and/or attorney development experience;
- Self-starter with a strong initiative and leadership skills;
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality;
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with LawCruit, CE Manager and Simplicity a plus;
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Team player who works well with others.
