Manager of Administration/Operations

For the New York Office of a Premier Consulting Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the daily office operations for over 500 consultants by collaborating with conference, facilities, food services and duplicating heads daily;
  • Work closely with Firm leadership to ensure efficient and highly professional facilities and office resources are available to consultants;
  • pply strong problem solving skills and business acumen and propose best solutions for a wide variety of operational challenges;
  • Manage and develop team members; provide regular feedback as well as participate in the annual performance review process;
  • Work on a variety of ad hoc projects surfaced by leadership or other key stakeholders; ensure the utilization of the Firm’s best practices as it relates to the operations.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 8+ years of experience in a professional services firm, preferably as an Operations Manager and/or Assistant Support Manager;
  • Strong interest and experience in managing operations of large office and support team;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) at all levels; strong influencing capabilities;
  • Good project management skills, ability to multitask and a track record of strong demonstrated leadership;
  • Ability to adhere to the highest process standards and stand firm on decisions;
  • Strong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and confidential information.
