Director of BD
For the DC Office of a Well-Respected, National Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Firm leadership and the marketing team to set strategic objectives and implement initiatives that drive new business growth;
- Oversee campaigns to promote practice and industry groups, launch new practices or client teams where there is growth potential, and form strategic alliances with referral sources;
- Provide oversight regarding development of business plans, pitches, RFP responses, business development meetings and firm-hosted events;
- Track key performance indicators of business development progress; share findings, analysis and recommendations with practice group and office leaders;
- Further develop and mentor a high-caliber, proactive and service-oriented marketing team.
Qualifications include:
- 10+ years of experience as a business development and client service leader in a professional services environment;
- Experience instituting systems and processes to track and measure performance metrics;
- Skillful at establishing rapport and working effectively across diverse stakeholder groups;
- Experienced strategist and team leader;
- Excellent presenter and writer.
