Recruiting Manager

For the New York Office of a Large International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the associate recruitment process, including recruitment of first year associates, lateral associates and summer associates;
  • Communicate regularly with office leadership concerning hiring needs and potential candidates;
  • Work with office leadership on strategic identification and development of lateral associate candidate pipelines, including managing relationships with search firms;
  • Plan and manage on-campus recruitment efforts, including maintaining relationships with law school recruiters and strategically driving efforts to increase and improve Firm visibility at targeted schools;
  • Plan and execute summer associate program, including onboarding, working with PD on training programs, monitoring work assignments and coordinating the summer associate evaluation process.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of related recruiting experience, preferably with a large law firm;
  • Exceptional planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and smoothly;
  • Outgoing, client service-oriented personality with a professional demeanor;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with candidates and all levels of Firm personnel;
  • Must possess superior judgement and discretion and be able to protect and maintain highly confidential information;
  • Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems; viRecruit expertise strongly preferred.
