Legal Recruiting Assistant

For the Chicago Office of a Boutique Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet and greet potential candidates; conduct office tours as needed for new hire orientation;
  • Coordinate event details for in-house and external Firm events;
  • Coordinate candidate searches, call-back interviews, interview scheduling and travel arrangements for all of the Firm's offices;
  • Track and complete data entry for new applicants in the recruiting database;
  • Assist in setting up Summer Associate orientation schedules and in drafting welcome memos;
  • Assist with the organization, planning and execution of summer program events; assisting in fostering attorney attendance at these events.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 1+ years of related experience in a professional environment, preferably a law firm;
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational and proofreading skills;
  • Proficiency working with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to successfully operate at a fast work pace while meeting frequent deadlines;
  • Excellent problem-solver and team player who works well under pressure;
  • Must be available to work outside of normal scheduled hours when needed;
