Business Development Specialist - Energy, Infrastructure, Project Finance

For the New York, DC or Miami Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate on the preparation of domestic and cross-border pitches, proposals, presentations and capability statements;
  • Help maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, experience statements, presentations, pitches, clients lists, case studies, rankings, website content, intranet practice pages and lawyer biographies;
  • Support a variety of rankings, awards and surveys including tracking deadlines, researching and drafting submissions and scheduling interviews;
  • Research industry events, sponsorships and speaking opportunities; evaluate business development value and manage Firm participation;
  • Support internal client development events, such as seminars and CLEs;
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of client alerts, newsletters, thought leadership pieces and other publications.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree; 2+ years of relevant experience in an Am Law 100 law firm;
  • Excellent systems and database skills including Interaction and Excel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Team player with a client-focused approach and excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment;
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
